Design your slides

Frame your code blocks

Give code a macOS-style window, add a filename, and choose its syntax colors. Make each example easy to recognize during a technical talk.

Code windows New in Deckset 2.1 for Mac

Frame your code blocks: a syntax-highlighted Swift example in a macOS-style window titled Greeting.swift.
Code windows

Choose a frame

Use a rounded box, a window with red, yellow, and green controls, or plain code without a frame.

Name the example

Put an optional title in the code fence metadata. Deckset centers it in the window’s title bar.

Set the syntax colors

Choose a highlight.js theme for the background and syntax colors. Apply it to one slide or the whole presentation.

A filename and a frame, in Markdown

This example applies a window to the slide’s code blocks and adds a title to the Swift snippet.

Also new: syntax highlighting for Robot Framework and Terraform/HCL.
